In 2004 Csepel Metall Ltd. won the prize of the Association of Hungarian Foundries (MÖSZ) which is awarded by an advisory board of experts for the most successfull foundry product, construction or investment of the year. The prize was given for the development and operating realisation of a new process made for a nodular iron support.

Csepel Metall Ltd. carries out an investment of 1,3 million Euro for technological modernisation and environmental acceptance. Within the scope of this investment CSM replaces the biggest part of its' old sand recycling system, establishes a filter system in relation to all of its' dustemission sources to satisfy EU requirements, constructs a new steel-grain fettling machine and a high-frequency cleaning system and carries out a partial recosntruction of the computer system.
